Events at Northshore Marina

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt & Potluck Brunch is ready to brighten Easter weekend with a potluck brunch and not one but two egg hunts – one for the kids at 10:00 a.m. and one for the adults at 10:15 a.m. (The adults may find some 21+ surprises in their eggs). We’ll also have an egg-dyeing and Easter craft station stocked with everything the littles need to create colorful masterpieces. Northshore Marina will provide all the goods for a deviled egg bar & muffins as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Bring your Easter basket, something to share with the group, and readiness for a morning of festive and delicious cheer.

One day isn’t enough to celebrate what mothers do all year long. So join us the Saturday before Mother’s Day for a relaxing morning centered around Mom. We’ll have delicious bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, and non-alcoholic “Mom-osas.” Bring your family and a healthy appetite for a wonderful mother’s morning on Lake Travis.

Lake Travis draped in neon and everyone’s dressed like it’s 1984 – that’s the 2025 vibe of the annual Start of Summer Party and VIP Boats & Yachts’ In-Water Boat Show. Come out to boogie for a great cause – we’ll serve non-alcoholic drinks with beer tickets for purchase, and all proceeds benefit Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing educational scholarships for family members of fallen or disabled service members and first responders. VIP Boats & Yachts will display new models from Prestige Yachts and Fountain Boats, and we’ll have a silent auction, free food and drinks, and local vendors. We bring the neon lights and boomboxes, you bring your best 80s neon outfit. We’ll have a photo booth on location to capture your best 80s throwbacks.

Our Memorial Day weekend celebration is a time to honor those who have sacrificed themselves in service to our country. It is also a time to enjoy one of the most active Lake Travis weekends of the year. Visit our Wall of Honor and Missing Man table to honor those lost. The Northshore visitor who wears the best red, white, and blue combination outfit, takes a picture with our staff, and texts it to us (512-267-6222) wins a $25 Visa gift card. We will have 25 percent off all Folds of Honor gear in the ship store, a raffle, and the wafting scents of grill masters on vacation drifting over the lake.

There’s only one real way to honor fathers on their special day: Feed them. Join us for a Father’s Day Brunch Buffet on Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We’ll gather for a relaxing lakeside morning with a delicious spread of breakfast favorites, including scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, simmered sausage, pastries, and fresh fruit. The Northshore team will prepare the breakfast – you bring Dad.

Enjoy Northshore’s Barbecue Potluck Party with backyard BBQ vibes, great food, and live country music that’ll have you tapping your boots. Show us your best family recipe or try something new – a dock full of hungry eaters will be ready to taste-test your best brisket, ribs, sausage, or sides. It will be a relaxed evening event on Lake Travis with music, good company, and plenty of fun. Bring your family, your favorite dish, and your dancing shoes for a perfect summer night!

Aloha! We’re bringing the island atmosphere to Lake Travis with a night of tropical fun, delicious quesadillas, and live music. BYOB or bring a cocktail to share, and enjoy a refreshing glass of Hawaiian-themed non-alcoholic punch (We cannot promise no pineapples were harmed in the making of this event). Dress in your best Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts, or tropical prints, and we’ll have plenty of island activities to make you forget you started the day in Central Texas.

You hoped you would get a chance to raise that one-liter beer stein, and Northshore delivers. Join us on the Northshore docks for a gourmand’s dream evening of German-inspired food, unique beer and cider tastings, and live music by Rob Grogan. Here’s the twist: we ask each guest to bring a six-pack of a unique beer or cider. We’ll provide sample cups so everyone can try everything and share their favorites. Classic German food will include pretzels, bratwurst, and hearty drink-pairing dishes to welcome fall on Lake Travis.

Our annual Thanksgiving Potluck Lunch at Northshore Marina brings together great company during a season of thankfulness with a chance to give back. We’ll provide the turkey, so feel free to bring your favorite side dish, dessert, or drink to share with family and friends. This year we’re partnering with the City of Jonestown, and we ask attendees to please bring canned goods to donate to those in need in our community. We’re excited to break bread together and give thanks in a beautiful lakeside setting.

Humans have varied talents – we happen to be looking for the ones who have a mastery of wearing ugly fabric. Bring your best ugly sweater game with a crockpot full of deliciousness (extra credit if the food is ugly but delicious), and your beautiful faces to celebrate the season in style. We’ll have prizes for the best dishes, the ugliest sweaters, and more, so be sure to bring your A-game!
